This document describes how users register and authenticate in “Portal”.
Registration Flow:
Steps:
- Navigate to the registration page using the following URL: portal.speacsafety.net/registration
- User enters first name, Last name, Email, Password, Confirm Password
- Verification email sent
- User confirms email
- Account created and activated
Key Rules:
- Email must be unique
- Password requirements (Min 8 and Max 32 characters, Min 1 Lower and upper case, Min 1 special character, Min 1 number)
- Email Verification required before login
Authentication (Login) Flow:
Steps:
- Navigate to the login page using the following URL: portal.speacsafety.net
- User submits credentials (email & password)
User redirected to dashboard page (From where the user can navigate to links based on their role)
